Email Client

Overview

In this project, I reimagined the user experience of a popular email client by transitioning its conventional list-based email view to a dynamic grid layout. This initiative was driven by the goal to enhance visual organization, improve content accessibility, and offer users a more intuitive way to interact with their inboxes. Through in-depth user research and iterative design testing, I uncovered the limitations of the traditional list view and developed a grid layout that not only addresses these issues but also introduces a fresh, modern approach to email management. The grid format allows for easier visual scanning of messages, better use of screen space, and a customizable interface that adapts to user preferences for a more personalized experience. By integrating this novel view, the project delivered an enhanced email client that significantly improves user engagement, efficiency, and satisfaction, showcasing my ability to innovate within the constraints of established digital environments.

Solution

• Provide a better UX design that makes it easier for users to access all emails without having too many buttons and confusing options.

Results

• Users found it very easy and smoother to use and view E-mails in grid view

• There is a problem about applying these changes to the mobile application. I will be working on something in the near future to see what more potential could this design bring.
